International Summer University of Environmental Sciences (ISU-Eco) with Main Focus on Renewable Energy and Climate Protection
The “ISU-Eco” is a summer possibility for everyone who is interested in learning environmental oriented disciplines, subjects and sciences. The basic fields of the ISU-Eco are climate protection, renewable materials and energy (wind, water, photovoltaic, biomass), life cycle analysis, environmental protection of chemical plants and other subjects. In the lectures a suitable mixture of knowledge from natural and engineering sciences as well as economic aspects are demonstrated presenting the complexity of the problems and their interrelations. Excursions to environmental industries are also organised.
The ISU-ECO finishes with a certificate that proves the participation and, on the other hand, it offers the possibility to earn 10 ETCS credits if extra work is completed by any of the participants.
The participants come from all over the World presenting a really international audience for this course. No special preliminary studies are prescribed, both students and industry experts are welcome.
The language of the course is English.
At last but not least, the ISU-Eco is organised by the Anhaltische Akademie für Energie & Umwelt e.V., Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME) and the Otto von Giericke University, Magdeburg (OvGU) and therefore the ISU-ECO is held in Budapest and Dessau, Germany offering also good possibilities for sightseeing.
